Hi! I'm Mansi.

An interdisciplinary artist, designer, and storyteller. My work lives at the intersection of love, culture, memory, and soul.

I’ve always been drawn to the power of art to tell stories. my goal is to make every experience and project deeply personal and artful. I love collaborating with clients to bring their vision to life.

whether through paper, paint, or pixels, making your ideas transform into something tangible and memorable is always my top priority.

Fun facts about me

πŸ““ Journal Collector Extraordinaire - I can’t resist beautiful notebooks and journals from around the world… even if most of them stay blank.

πŸ›΅ Sunset Chaser - My favorite escape is riding my little scooter to the local waterfront park just to watch the sunset.

πŸ’ Three Weddings, One Love Story - I met the love of my life at a wedding, and after five years of long distance, we celebrated our union in three unique ways:

  • A cozy INTIMATE CEREMONY filled with EMOTIONS.

  • A riverside CIVIL CEREMONY in Harpers Ferry, surrounded by mountains.

  • And a grand cultural celebration in India at a boutique fort palace WHERE I REVEALED MY HUSBAND’S PORTRAIT AT THE END OF MY DANCE PERFORMANCE. THIS PAINTING HAS BEEN A MEMORABLE KEEPSAKE FOR US AND ALL THE GUESTS KEPT TALKING ABOUT THE SURPRISE & UNIQUENESS OF THE CELEBRATION. I ALSO DESIGNED ALL THE INVITES & PAPER GOODS FOR ALL THE CEREMONIES. Each wedding reflected who we are and taught me how deeply personal and meaningful every wedding celebration can be.

My journey as an artist & designer

  • My journey as an artist began long before I ever called it a career. From childhood, creativity flowed instinctively, transforming notebooks, walls, and even my mother’s hands into canvases. Henna was a constant presence, and with my mother’s mentor’s guidance I learned to sketch, first with simple subject like flowers. By the time I was a pre-teen, my parents recognized my passion and arranged formal training in sketching and fine art. Creativity also lived in the everydayβ€”handmade greeting cards, chalkboard calligraphy, and flourishes that brought beauty into ordinary and celebratory moments.

  • In high school, I began sharing my art more publicly. I launched The Painted Paradise on Instagram, received commissions for portraits, and even taught summer workshops for children and adults. By the age of seventeen, my work was featured in a media interview, and I knew I wanted to pursue art professionally.

I was accepted into the Communication Design program at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, where I explored photography, graphic design, brand identity, and visual storytelling. Collaborating with fashion and lifestyle brands, I worked on product photography, hand-painted motifs, and storyboard illustrations for handicraft studios. A defining discovery was my love for printed materialsβ€”designing invitations, packaging, and stationery that combined artistry with function.

When COVID-19 struck, I adapted quickly, shifting to digital illustration and creating bespoke e-invitations and wedding stationery. Between 2020 and 2022, I expanded my client base globally, refining my style while blending traditional artistry with new mediums.

  • In preparation for relocating to the United States, I completed an intensive training program at an art center in Virginia, refining both technical and creative skills. Around the same time, I designed my own multi-event weddingβ€”from stationery and dΓ©cor to styling and detailsβ€”treating it as a comprehensive artistic project.

Once settled in Baltimore with my husband, I relaunched my creative practice with a new focus. Starting with henna booths and cultural events, I quickly built connections that led to collaborations, workshops, and live painting projects. I participated in MICA’s Community Art Collaborative program (americorps) , was selected as a mentee for the Brush Mural Fest, and painted at the Baltimore Convention Center. I also partnered with institutions including the Baltimore Museum of Art, Enoch Pratt Library, Lexington Market, and Creative Alliance to lead workshops like Mindful Mandalas, Turmeric Tints, and Henna-Inspired Home DΓ©cor. Invitations to speak at schools and mentor young artists deepened my role in community engagement.

  • In 2024, I partnered with Johns Hopkins University to provide custom guest illustrations at a few of their programs. Watching participants light up as they received personalized artwork made me realize the impact of live illustrationβ€”and its potential to elevate larger celebrations.

Today, my work specializes in luxury event artistry: bespoke stationery suites, live event painting, and custom guest illustrations. Each piece is more than a productβ€”it is an experience.

From hand-painted invitations and immersive ceremony paintings to curated packaging with wax seals, dried florals, and handwritten notes, every detail reflects the story of the couple or client.

Artist Statement

As a multidisciplinary visual artist, I am drawn to the quiet romance of everyday life and the timeless beauty of the old world. My work lives at the intersection of memory, mythology, and lived experience, where ordinary moments transform into lyrical narratives.

I often look to ancient knowledge and cultural heritage as guiding lights, not as relics of the past but as living philosophies that continue to shape our present. Through portraits, mythological retellings, and scenes from daily life, I weave stories of love, power, courage, and compassion, reframing them for a modern context. Each painting becomes a meditation, an intimate dialogue between history and the now.Fashion also plays a vital role in my practice. I am fascinated by the way clothing carries identity, tradition, and storytelling.

My work often reflects a playful fusion of ancient cultural attire with contemporary sensibilities, making history feel alive and relevant while staying rooted in its origins.

My visual language borrows from the lyricism of Rajasthani miniature traditions while deliberately resisting naturalism. Characters and environments interact in playful, layered ways that reflect both order and mystery. Colors, textures, and patterns serve as gateways into spaces that are both familiar and dreamlike.

At its heart, my art is a form of visual poetry, a way of capturing fleeting truths, small gestures, and the lingering resonance of ancient tales. I hope to create work that not only celebrates beauty but also invites reflection: to question what we accept as ordinary, to honor what is enduring, and to rediscover the magic woven into our shared human journey.
